IFSA arranged an informal visit to the Yakult factory, attended by Junior Associates and Core members. Associates learned how Yakult's state-of-the-art facility, a joint venture between Japan's Yakult Honsha and France's Danone, operates under strict certifications (ISO 9001, HACCP, OHSAS), ensuring high hygiene and quality standards in a fully automated production line.
The visit provided a behind‑the‑scenes look at each stage—from sterilising raw ingredients and fermenting the Lactobacillus casei Shirota culture, to bottling, packaging, cold storage, and logistics. Associates gained insights into operations, supply chain, and quality control in the FMCG sector.
IFSA LSR conducted an enriching offline visit to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) with participation from 40+ associates. The interactive session offered practical insights into capital market regulation, covering discussions on traditional assets such as gold and real estate, as well as equity markets and derivatives.
Members engaged in an open dialogue on investor protection, informed decision-making, and the importance of early financial awareness, gaining a clearer understanding of how regulatory frameworks translate into real-world market functioning.
Innovation, Strategy, and Real-World Problem Solving
Consulting Conclave Season 2 marked a dynamic culmination of innovation, strategy, and real-world problem-solving at IFSA LSR. The competition brought together sharp, analytical minds who addressed complex business challenges with clarity, creativity, and structured thinking.
The conclave was further enriched by the insights and evaluations of our judges, Parth Kaushik (Consultant at EY Parthenon and MBA from IIM Calcutta) and Sonu Ray (Product professional at Jio and MBA from XIM Bhubaneswar), whose expertise added depth and rigour, making the experience intellectually enriching and impactful for all participants.
IFSA successfully organised the first edition of its intra-IFSA Case Competition, witnessing enthusiastic participation from nearly 15 teams. Designed to mirror real-world business problem-solving, the competition provided participants with a platform to apply their analytical thinking, strategic approach, and presentation skills.
Following a rigorous preliminary round, the top five teams advanced to the final presentation stage, where they presented innovative solutions and engaged in insightful, thought-provoking discussions.
